Who's in and the roles they play, who's online, who's waiting at the door - and the band's profile, its own name, photo and color, on every member's machine.

The Ferry Lights - four in, one at the door

Five words to get in

Start a band and you get five ordinary words to read out - chosen so they survive a loud room. Anyone who guesses wrong a handful of times from one address is locked out for a while.

Nobody lets themselves in

Every seat is a grant the band signed, and every machine checks it for itself. Approve, make someone an admin, or take it back, and their machine hears the next time you're both online.

Change the code, keep the band

If the code gets out, change it. Everyone already on the roster keeps working; anyone holding only the old code is out at once.

It looks like your band

A name, a photo, a bio and a color that the whole app wears while that band is in view. Each member says what they play, band by band.

More than one band

In a covers band and your own project? Switch from the band name at the top. Each keeps its own members, library, calendar and chat, and nothing crosses between them.

Across town, too

On the same wifi you find each other on your own. For a bandmate in another house, the owner lets their router open one port and everyone joins with the code alone.
