Which one?
On your own
A personal license. The seven tools, your library, your calendar and your recordings - everything that doesn't need anyone else.
Starting a band
A band license. It's what switches on the band - chat, calls, sharing, the band's calendar - and your own personal license comes with it. Everyone else in the band has one of their own.
Joining someone's band
A personal license. The same license covers you in every band you join.
Teaching, or leading an orchestra
A classroom license. Everything a band license does, with room for fifty. Your own license and an assistant's are included; each student or player has a personal one.
Frequently asked
what people ask before they buy
What a band pays, all told
A band license, which covers its owner, and a personal license for everyone else. A four-piece: $3.99 + 3 × $1.99 = $9.96 a month, or $107.50 a year paid yearly.
How many members
A band license has room for ten, a classroom license fifty. Once it's full, the next can join when somebody leaves.
Monthly or yearly, same license
Paying yearly doesn't change what you get - only how often you pay. Licenses renew themselves while you're paying, and stop on their own if you don't.
Your license can't be copied
A license names your machine's own key and renews by signing with it, so a copied license file renews nothing.
Nothing taken away
Let a license lapse and BandPeer waits for a new one - but nothing is deleted, and you can export your library, setlists and calendar at any time, license or not.

A personal license
Goes on the machine you paste it on. Changed computer? Paste the next code from your account page on the new one, and the license moves there.
A band or classroom license
Goes on the band owner's machine and licenses the band that machine started. It reaches everyone in the band the next time they sync. On a classroom license, choose which assistant gets the second included license from the band's row in the same place.
A machine that's never online can still have a license: get in touch, and we'll send it as a file.
