Refunds and cancelling
Cancel whenever you like. You keep what you've paid for, and nothing you've made is ever deleted.

Try it first
Every install can have a 7-day free trial - personal, or band for a band you've started. A trial doesn't ask for a card and doesn't turn into a payment on its own. When it ends, BandPeer simply waits for a license.
Cancelling
Licenses are PayPal subscriptions that renew every month or every year. To stop one:
- In PayPal, go to Settings › Payments › Manage automatic payments, pick BandPeer and cancel it. PayPal's own help pages have the current steps if these have moved.
- Or email us from the address on your account, and we'll cancel it for you.
Cancelling stops the next payment. Your license keeps working until the end of the period you've already paid for - the account page shows the date - and then stops renewing. There's no fee for cancelling, and nothing more to pay.
Refunds
If BandPeer isn't what you wanted, email us within 14 days of a payment and we'll refund that payment in full, no questions. That applies to the first payment and to each renewal, monthly or yearly.
A refunded payment ends that license straight away rather than at the end of the period, and cancels the subscription so nothing more is taken. Outside that window we don't refund part of a period, but cancelling means you won't be charged again.
Refunds go back through PayPal to however you paid. PayPal usually shows them within a few days; a card can take longer to show them.
If you live somewhere that gives you more - a legal right to withdraw from a purchase, or to a refund for something faulty - you have that as well. Nothing here takes it away.
Chargebacks and disputes
Please talk to us first - a refund from us is quicker than a dispute. A payment reversed through PayPal or your card issuer ends the license it paid for in the same way a refund does.
What a lapsed license does to your music
Nothing. When a license ends - cancelled, refunded or simply unpaid - BandPeer stops syncing and locks its pages until there's a license again, but nothing is deleted. Your library, setlists, calendar and recordings stay on your machine, the export in Settings always works, and everything is back the moment you have a license.
Band licenses
A band license is bought and cancelled by the band's owner. When it ends, the band stops syncing for everyone in it until it's licensed again - and on a classroom license, the assistant whose personal license it included loses that too. Each member's own personal license is theirs to keep or cancel.
