Chat & calls
Message the whole band or one person, and ring each other on video - straight between your machines, encrypted end to end.
Friday's gig, sorted in the band chat
A direct message stays direct
It exists only on the two machines it names. Nothing relays it, and it crosses the network sealed to the other person's key.
Straight to the band
Messages arrive the moment they're sent - they don't wait behind an inbox - and only from people on the band's roster. Nobody can post as someone else.
Honest about delivery
There's no server holding messages for someone who has gone home, so BandPeer says who got it - and says so plainly when nobody did.
Ring a bandmate
Each person has their own call button, lit when they're online. Video goes straight between the two machines, sealed like everything else.
Speakers work too
Echo cancellation stops the call feeding back on itself, so you don't need headphones to hear each other.
Check before you call
Check camera and mic shows your picture exactly as a call sends it, and plays your voice back the way the band will hear it.
